Nothing special about this walk just walking along the main street....

During this walk, the path on Howard Avenue is over grown so much that we had to walk sideways and we got stung by nettles that had grown very tall (see pic 03 & 05). Halfway through the walk there was a trolly that had been dumped on the other side of the stream. This trolly is spoinling the walk. It can be accessed from Valley Road, off CHeadle Road. Just before the first bend on the left is where it has been disposed of on the embankment. (see pic 13 &14). Otherwise this was a pleasant walk with beautiful scenery....

We started this walk at Abney Hall Park then took a detour through Brookfields Park before joining the route from Brook House. It was very green and quiet despite the sunny weather, some part of the paths need some TLC as they're clearly not walked often but overall it was a lovely walk!...

I enjoyed this walk as walking along the river and the wide path was so usefull simply people walking pass with their dogs plenty of space just as you reach to the ladybridge raod after crossing the steps going to next route was a little too deep on a rainy day could be slippery . But all together a pleasent walk....

Really good mix of greenery and industrial - enjoyed this walk particularly the Ladybrook Cycle way which we didn't realise was there - we used this as a continuation of CHECHE 1 and did the 8k loop...

nice route - some areas require walking shoes in winter as can be a bit muddy....

Alternatives I might use: On School Lane, for a more accessible pathway, don’t turn right onto Parrs Wood Road - continue straight across and continue with School Lane until you get to the A34, then turn right along wider paths and the Parrs Wood crossroads to cross over to the complex. Less accessible and away from cars for a bit: From the start at Didsbury Village tram stop, it is possible to walk down William St, then Olive Shapley Ave to its end, cross over the tram tracks, and follow the footpath that runs alongside the tracks, and once you reach the East Didsbury station, exit at the crossroads by the Parrs Wood complex and continue with the walk from there....

Going around the back of the hospital is a nice detour away from that road and brings you out right into the centre of Cheadle. Easy to navigate with a pram, there are ramps available at any points with steps....

It's a good urban walking route that would be fun to run too....

Rather dull route on city streets (the A560), albeit with some greenery around. Not really any better route between these though; direct, accessible, easy to navigate....
